The POI Foundation has developed a comprehensive set of programs designed to support Native Hawaiians. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education opportunities our
intent is to operate to best serve Native Hawaiians by concentrating on activities in the
STEM fields. This is crucial for Native Hawaiians and more importantly, our country as we prepare them for success and the jobs of the future.
Aviation Industry Education
The POI Foundation provides opportunities in this arena to focus our efforts on creating a pathway to obtain a private pilot license and work closely with partners to facilitate a pipeline of pilots, mechanics and related aviation roles to support Hawaii. These opportunities may come as an internships, scholarships, or relationship with a business partner.
Cyber Education
Cyber is a significant threat to our country. The POI Foundation’s intent is to provide cyber opportunities to support cyber education thru internships, scholarships, or relationships with business partners.
Scholarship Program
Community College and University scholarships. Choose award scholarships based on essay or business plan of what that students see are the paths forward to helping and support local community.
