POI Foundation Donates $3500 to the ULU A’E Learning Center

The POI Foundation is pleased to announce that it contributed $3500 to the ULU A’E Learning Center. The ULU A’E Learning Center was formed in 2014 with the vision to have entire communities knowledgeable and engaged in the place they live. They deliver culture and place-based education for keiki and families of Honouliuli through half day and intersession student days, other cultural community programs and volunteer workdays.

Mission: Their mission is to empower and enrich lives through programs that develop skills, build confidence and promote healthy relationships based on the values and customs of our kūpuna.

Henry Pedrina, Secretary and Treasurer of the POI Foundation, delivers a check to Miki‘ala Lidstone, Executive Director of the ULU A’E Learning Center and children of their programs in Kapolei, HI. Our donation will go to expanding classrooms to accommodate more students.
